Downton Parking Available During Pleasant Valley Blvd. North Construction

As construction continues on Pleasant Valley Boulevard North as part of the Community Revitalization and Infrastructure (CARI) Project, the City of Armstrong would like to remind residents and visitors that several public parking options remain available throughout the downtown core.

Visitors can access public parking at the following locations:

  • Wood Avenue City Public Parking Lot
  • Pleasant Valley Boulevard South City Public Parking Lot
  • On-street parking along Patterson Avenue
  • On-street parking along Pleasant Valley Road between Okanagan Street and Bridge Street
  • On-street parking along Okanagan Street from Wood Avenue to Patterson Avenue

In addition, the former City Hall parking lot is currently being prepared for temporary public parking. The City will provide a formal announcement once the lot is ready for public use. All downtown businesses remain open and continue to welcome customers throughout construction. Residents and visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the available parking options and continue supporting the local businesses that contribute to Armstrong’s vibrant historic downtown.

The City appreciates the community’s patience and understanding as improvements are made to the downtown area. These investments will enhance infrastructure, accessibility, and the overall experience for residents, businesses, and visitors for years to come.

The City will continue to provide updates on construction progress, traffic impacts, parking availability, and other project information through its website, social media channels, and direct communication with affected stakeholders.
