Construction to begin on Pleasant Valley Boulevard North Improvements
Update #2
Progress continues on the Pleasant Valley Boulevard (PV Blvd. North) project. This work moves us further into the first phase of the City’s downtown revitalization initiative.
During the week of April 6, 2026, planned activities include setting up traffic control and signage, setting up construction fencing and completing locates of existing utilities. Additionally, the contractor will begin the layout and sawcutting of the asphalt and concrete.
During the week of April 13, 2026, planned activities include the removal of surface concrete and asphalt, along with the removal of other site features such as benches, landscaping, and other similar amenities.
What to expect:
• Temporary road closures in sections (with detour signage).
• Delays for vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists – please allow extra travel time.
• Increased noise, dust, vibration, and heavy equipment/traffic in the area.
• Possible temporary disruptions to on-street parking, driveways, or access (advance notice will be provided for any driveway restrictions).
• Access to properties and businesses will be maintained whenever possible; flagging personnel will assist if needed.
