City Of Armstrong Property Tax Notices To Arrive Early
Ahead of Potential Postal Strike

Armstrong, BC –The City of Armstrong would like to inform residents that 2025 Property Tax Notices will be mailed out early, starting next week, to ensure timely delivery ahead of the potential Canada Post strike expected later this month.

In light of the predicted postal service disruption, the City is strongly encouraging residents to avoid mailing payments this year. The property tax due date remains firm on July 2, 2025, and penalties will apply to any payments not received by this date—regardless of postmark or mailing delays.

To avoid penalties and ensure your payment is received on time, please consider one of the following alternate payment options:

  • Online/In-Person banking through your financial institution
  • In-person payments at City Hall (cash, cheque, or debit)
  • Using the secure drop box outside City Hall (cheques only)

The City appreciates your cooperation as we work to minimize disruption caused by circumstances beyond our control. Thank you for planning ahead and ensuring your payment is received on time.

For more information or assistance, please contact City Hall at 250-546-3023 or visit www.cityofarmstrong.bc.ca.
