Notice of Public Hearing for Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 1932, 2024

Pursuant to Section 477 of the Local Government Act, notice is hereby given that Council for the City of Armstrong has scheduled a public hearing for the public to provide input to the Council regarding Official Community Plan (OCP) Bylaw No. 1932, 2024 which proposes to replace current Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 1750, 2014 with a new Official Community Plan.
Public Hearing Date: July 21, 2025
Time: 5 p.m.
Location: Council Chambers – 3535 Bridge Street, Armstrong, B.C.
The proposed bylaw is to adopt a new OCP covering all land and properties within the municipal boundaries of the City of Armstrong. The OCP is a statement of objectives and policies to guide the City on a variety of decisions including planning and land use management. It also includes land use designations and development permit designations and guidelines.
The proposed bylaw is available for public inspection on the City’s website at www.cityofarmstrong.bc.ca, at City Hall between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays), and at the public hearing.
Members of the public are invited to attend the public hearing. If unable to attend the public hearing, written comments can be submitted to the attention of the Corporate Officer, by any of the following means, no later than 12 p.m. (Noon) on July 21, 2025:
