Community Food System Assessment
The City of Armstrong is completing a Community Food System Assessment and your input is needed. Come hear an update on what the Community Food Initiative Committee has been up to all summer and participate in the discussion about what Food Security means, and how do we get it. Topics include
1) Results from the Community Food Assessment so far
2) Prioritizing issues to improve food security
3) Developing strategies to achieve a vision of the future food system for Armstrong.
For those who completed a questionnaire in the summer the draw for a $50 gift certificate to Askew's will take place at the meeting.
Tuesday, November 3, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Oddfellows Hall. |
